Call for Materials
As you may have read in recent posts, Tinkering School is moving to a “re-use, re-purpose, re-build” approach. In support of this, I am soliciting your help in collecting the materials for our upcoming summer sessions.
If you have surplus materials (wood, paper, plastic, metal) or stuff (mechanical devices, electronics, etc.) that are just gathering dust, slowly decomposing, or headed to the landfill, please send me an email and if it sounds like a good fit, I’ll arrange pick-up.

I just couldn’t be more excited to announce the latest addition to the Tinkering School tool chest. Last month we got a CNC table with both plasma-torch and router capabilities. This machine can cut steel and wood to an accuracy of 1/5000th of an inch! Read all about here in the Flickr set I put up: First Month With the Machine
