For example the address of your last post was http://www.tinkeringschool.com/blog/?p=75 but would have been http://www.tinkeringschool.com/blog/pardon-our-interuption if you make the change. This can be a real advantage if you post something that might have a wider audience since the address tells you the title and search engines will like it more.
