You only have to Google for “Fifty Dangerous Things” to see what sort of New Year it has been for gever and julie. Self-publishing the book has certainly been a hands-on learning experience, and the response has been nothing short of amazing. But that hasn’t kept us from planning the summer sessions, only slowed us down a bit. We’re happy to announce that we are now accepting applications.
Here are the details:
* Deadline: Completed forms must be submitted by March 14, 2010.
* Session 1 (ages 8 to 12) starts on Sunday, July 18 and ends on Saturday, July 24.
* Session 2 (ages 12 to 17) starts on Sunday, August 1 and ends on Saturday, August 7.
* Sessions will be held at Elkus Ranch in Half Moon Bay, California (same as 2009).
* The one week sessions are $1200 per child (some financial assistance is available).
* Deposit of $200 is required upon acceptance into the session, the remainder is due by June 20, 2010.
* We expect a high level of responsibility from the Tinkerers: they must be able to listen, to keep themselves clean, to cooperate, and to ask for help when they need it.
To Apply, simply fill out this form.
