Tinkering School Manager
Tinkering School operates a wide range of camps and workshops for young people ages 6 to 18. The programs are based on the belief that kids can build anything, and through building learn anything. The use of real tools to tackle real problems creates a unique atmosphere of trust and responsibility. From six-year-olds to high schoolers, we empower our tinkerers with tools, autonomy and space. Big responsibilities build competency and leave lasting memories.
Since our founding in 2005, Tinkering School has grown from a single week of summer camp to multiple year-round programs and has transformed how thousands of kids see their own abilities. We’re now seeking a passionate leader to guide the program’s development and expansion as we pursue our mission to help kids become the creative problem solvers their generation is going to need.
As the Manager of Tinkering School, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of all Tinkering School programs. You will work closely with the founder and staff to develop, plan, and deliver deeply engaging high-impact Tinkering experiences. You’ll manage budgets and operations to ensure that Tinkering School delivers programs that kids and parents rave about, with an excellent safety record, within budget. You will guide the sustainable growth of the programs so that we can reach more and more kids.
