Space! The Best Thursday Ever.

So, I don't want to brag, but this was like, the best Thursday ever.

From the very beginning of the morning build session, Tinkerers were working together to complete pretty complicated tasks that couldn't be done with just one person: such as making this tricky connection. Noah and Jonas and Aaron working together!

Marlon test out how easy it is to break a connection when the lever arm is really long. We tried this with shorter wood earlier and it didn't work very well. With this 60 inch arm, basically anyone could wiggle the screws free.

After eating lunch and playing outside, we came back and chilled out for a bit. The Tinkerers just naturally gravitated into small groups and started playing games with each other. It was pretty magical and almost painful to interrupt so that we could get back to building!

A working robot arm complete with a grasping end! We were capturing buckets of hardware on the floor for the last 30 minutes of the build session. August kept trying it over and over and over and over and over.

Tomorrow is our last day to build! Saturn and the Probe look awesome and I can't wait to post photos of the complete projects!

Get some sleep tonight, Tinkerers!
