And So It Begins

The second group of Tinkerers have arrived and the studio is a veritable flurry of activity.
Measure Once, Cut Twice

We have collected a plethora of super heavy-duty boxes for today's project. However, the strength required for cutting them turns out to be beyond the ability of most 7-12 year olds. We end up with a supply-chain scheduling problem that makes the afternoon more complicated than expected.
Measure Twice, Cut Once

Nikhil has three tape measures at the ready, taking the maxim "Measure Twice, Cut Once" to heart. Connor, at Tinkering School for the first time, puts his full concentration to making the required blueprint.
Sig Alert

Traffic is backed up at the cutting station. It's a great time to refine your blueprint, as Twyen and Nemo demonstrate.
The Rules of The Game

The landing is a perfect meeting room to discuss the rules of indoor hide-and-go-seek-tag while still on neutral territory. The first rule: upstairs is off-limits.
Half a Movie is Better than None

After one of the more enthusiastic games of indoor hide-and-go-seek-tag that Tinkering School has ever seen, the kids opt to watch the first half of the week's movie. Daisy is SO happy that everyone is sitting quietly in one place so she can both keep an eye on them and take a nap. Nemo willingly obliges her with a seat on the couch (aka "the best seats in the house").
