Dangerous Done Well: Lifting Ourselves to the Rafters

Today a team of 6-12 year-olds took turns lifting one another to the rafters of our building, 14' above the hard cement floor. 

After two weeks of laying down the challenge, "Lift heavy things", we had slowly, carefully escalated to lifting very heavy, very precious things: our classmates.
