Break Camps

Join us for this exciting pilot program! We'll be tinkering with common household items as well as best-selling Catalyst Tinkering Kits (included in tuition) to collaboratively build amazing, interactive creations!
Waitlists: If camp is full, be sure to still add your name to the waitlist. Spots occasionally open up and it’s free of charge to join.
Scholarships: Tinkering School is committed to making our programs available to everyone. We offer scholarships on a pay-what-you-can basis while funds last. All families will be asked their tuition assistance preference during the registration process.
Tuition
Online Spring Break Camp 2020 (Ages 8-12), $350
(Each participant will receive a Catalyst Tinkering Kit of their own in the mail prior to camp).
Dates
March 31 - April 2, (Tuesday-Thursday) - 3 days total
Camp Hours
Camp runs from 10am - 3pm with an hour lunch break at 12pm
When school is out, Tinkering School is open!
Big Ideas, Real Tools, No Recipes. It’s going to be big, messy and hands on. Join us as we use real tools to solve real and complex problems. Kids will walk away with great stories and a bold new understanding of the kinds of things they are capable of. Each Break Camp is different with totally new content and projects lead by our amazing staff.
Break Camps are just like our Summer Day Camp. Multiple days of tinkering allows for some super creative designs to go through several iterations and the kids to really get to know every aspect of making with a team. (Dive in deeper to what this camp is like on our Break Camp Blog)

Camp Hours
Before care available from 8:30am - 9:15am
Drop off starts at 9:15am
Camp runs from 9:30am until 3:15pm
Pick up is 3:15 to 3:30pm
After care available from 3:30 - 5pm
What to Bring to Camp
A nutritious and delicious lunch.
A snack for snack time.
A refillable water bottle.
Closed-toe shoes (we work with heavy and messy things).
Comfortable clothes that can get dirty. (Seriously, whatever they wear may get dirty or even torn).
Sunscreen already applied for the day (send extra if your child has sensitive skin). We go outside every day.
