<< NOTICE TO AGENTS:

INTO OUR THIRD DAY OF TRAINING AND YOU ARE CONTINUING TO LEARN TEAMWORK. IN FACT YOU'VE PROVED YOURSELVES WORTHY OF ADDITIONAL CHALLENGES AND SO A CHALLENGE YOU SHALL HAVE! IN THIS DAY OF TRAINING, YOUR SO-CALLED PROJECT "COLLABORATORS" WILL BE BANNED FROM SPEAKING AND GIVING VERBAL GUIDANCE TO YOU OF ANY KIND. IF YOU NEED THEIR HELP YOU WILL NEED TO COMMUNICATE IN A DIFFERENT WAY OR, BETTER YET, YOU WILL TURN TO EACH OTHER TO WORK THINGS OUT AND PROBLEM-SOLVE. WE ARE KEEPING WATCH. CARRY ON. >>

It's been a whirlwind of collaborating and building around Tinkering Day Camp SF today! By the end of Tuesday the tinkerers were doing so well working together, it was almost like they had an alternative agenda or motivation, but don't be fooled - all they are doing is tinkering here at camp. They were collaborating so well, in fact, that they were given a special challenge: the project collaborators (the adult staff helping with each project specifically) were not allowed to talk all morning! Tinkerers communicated with them through gestures, improvised sign language and writing but better still they did a LOT more communicating with each other to solve problems rather than turning first to an adult when a problem arose. We continue to be impressed by these Senior Tinkerers (this week we have our older tinkerers here at camp)! We also heard the tinkerers whispering to each other about some sort of "mission", but we're sure they're just joking around. Kids do that you know. Everything is fine and normal. All we're doing here is learning to collaborate through building together, we promise!
