We rise as the sun penetrates the horizon. Our yurts light up as do our faces when we remember the project reveal is today!

Kaitlyn introduces the project theme: ESCAPE ROOMS!

Kaitlyn introduces the project theme: ESCAPE ROOMS!

Whaaaaaaat?! Escape rooms?! SO COOL! Not only will this project be the usual physical mechanical challenge; there will be an added element of removing oneself from the project in order to think from the perspective of the observer... we can't make it too hard, it can't take too long to solve, but it needs to be difficult to be mentally stimulating! So many variables! AND SECRETS TO UNFOLD!

We are split up into 3 teams, each to create their own escape room. Each team has a $30 budget for miscellaneous supplies, a time cap of 30 minutes under which their captives must escape, and the requirement of a theme/story to accompany their room!

Sayuri leads team Piki, consisting of Lucy, Sophia, Sarah R., Liora, Charlie, Dason, and Lee.

Kaitlyn leads team Nooi, consisting of Reilly, Lauren, Merritt, Sarah P., Ethan, and Oliver.

Miles leads team Kablooi, consisting of Millennium, Jack, Austin, Tyler, Noa, Sasha, and Gretchen.

Teams create group agreements, then get to planning their escape rooms!

Piki reveals the story behind their escape room: the captive is a baby sitter. The baby sat is an evil genious child who traps them!
