TSO-C: Morning photo reflections

This morning, Ana and Daniel set up the projector for folks to look through the hundreds of photos from the last few days. Here’s what we want to share with you!

As tinkerers arrived on Sunday, some got right into playing with Catalyst Kit components.

Lots of people contributed to decorating the mail snail.

And then, we were off and up the hill!

We stopped to talk about plants of note: blackberries, poison oak, hemlock, nettles.

Up the hill, everyone got introduced to the shop. At chopsaw training, Evie practices making a ready call.

Anna practices drilling 2x3s together.

Clamps are powerful!

Hunter, think outside the box!

It’s Monday morning — project reveal time!

This week, we will be building a massive Moving Menagerie. Brainstorm time…

Once groups have a general idea of what they are building, they head up the hill to get started.

Tuesday morning started with shadow puppets.

Laszlo and Hunter set up an angle cut on the chopsaw.

“That looks like that Beatles album!”

Siddharth makes a jigsaw cut.

Wednesday morning started with a lot of pancakes (thanks Zachary and Eli!).

Then the sun came out for Beach Day!

Run, Finn, run!

Wind is powerful…

Aspen and Evi enjoy the tidepools.
